Jennifer Poliwoda
Jennifer Poliwoda was born in the wrong universe. In her ideal reality, she’d be a whimsical forest dweller living among moss and magic with her jester of a husband and four small but ferocious protectors: her cats. Since interdimensional relocation hasn’t worked out so far, she writes immersive fantasy novels instead, giving both herself and her readers a chance to escape this world for a while.
As a lifelong reader, Jennifer never actually planned to become an author. Despite earning a degree in Biochemistry from RIT, Jennifer somehow ended up working in government contracting. Her writing journey began with a dream she couldn’t shake, one that slowly grew into a story she had to put on paper. Once she started writing, she realized she couldn’t stop. Now she is often squeezing in writing sessions between a full 8–5 schedule and the rest of life’s chaos.
Jennifer now lives in Rochester, New York with her amazingly kind and patient husband and their four crazy cats: Fat Louie, Diego, Delilah, and Maple. She loves nature, getting lost in good books, and pretending she’s much more witchy than she actually is.
